Trinity Kitchens LPG System

The Trinity Kitchens (Leeds) LPG System required the application of LPG gas to a commercial retail context for which there was no precedent in the construction industry. Ardent Engineering developed the conceptual design and carried out the subsequent detailed design, installation, commissioning and developed a Scheme of Maintenance for this unique system. Commercial Renewable Heat Incentive Independent Metering Report Authoring

Ardent Engineering provided consultancy to create a full life-cycle process of concept design, critical control system development and Independent Metering Reporting for Commercial Biomass Renewable Heating Installations. This required comprehensive understanding of the engineering issues underlying the RHI regulations, ensuring a concept was designed that wouldn’t fall foul of the regulations at the stage where the Report to the Office of Gas and Electricity Markets (Ofgem) was submitted. This work was carried out for SME’s such as A Shade Greener, Duncan Renewables, PDR Construction and other independent RHI applicants and Local Authorities.

Ardent Engineering provided consultancy services to help manage change using innovative staff training strategies, alteration of services and equipment, Risk Assessment and knowledge of relevant legislation in Crosslee’s Research and Development and Production facilities. An appropriate range of Risk Assessment models such as BowTie were employed. A model of engineering operative training for procedures developed by Stephen, Ardent Engineering’s Director, was applied, the Coalescence Technique.
